Shaktiananda Advanced Asanas / Postures
The Shaktiananda Yoga technique should be learned from an approved Yoga teacher. The asanas (postures) are practiced along with pranayama (breathing exercises) and guided meditational techniques passed down from the Himalayan masters. 
Yoga is a life style. The asanas; cleansing kriyas; proper vegetarian diet; and Yogic practice in relaxation and concentration all lead to deep meditation and Self-Realization.
