The Self-Realization Shala Order (SRSO) Yoga teachings are brought forth by ~Gurudevi, Shri Swami Maha-Shaktiananda; founder of Self-Realization Shala Order in 1970. She is the author of Shaktiananda Yoga for Higher Awareness, Nature of Wholeness, and Autobiography of a Messenger. ~Gurudevi is a dispeller of ignorance; a spiritually realized preceptor who can guide the sincere on the path of Self-realization. ~Gurudevi developed the Shaktiananda Yoga technique in 1968 based on the ancient Himalayan Yogic practices of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing), and meditation.

Kriya Yoga
The advanced level of Yogic practice; Mahavatar Babaji's Kriya Yoga (N.B., the exact same kundalini kriya also known as Shakti Kriya originally given to Lahiri Mahasaya in the 19th century); can only be transferred through direct initiation from a guru.
